Lebanon Fundraiser Highlights Need for Services

5 March 2018, 11:46a

Guests that attended our first fundraiser in Lebanon heard first-hand the impact of CARDV services in Linn County: “From the outside, we looked like a normal middle-class family running a business and involved in the community,” said Tonya,  a domestic violence survivor, from the podium. “It was a dark time in my life, and CARDV was a shining light. “

"Those of you here tonight are mighty, and we’re counting on you to do a lot,”  said emcee, Linn County Commissioner, Will Tucker as guests were invited to join us in ending domestic and sexual violence in our communities.

The event would not have been possible without the volunteer planning team and our generous sponsors: Jacopetti’s Catering, Figaro’s Pizza, Schmizza Public House, Central Willamette Community Credit Union, Samaritan Health Services, Linn-Co Federal Credit Union, Pacific Power, Xtreme Grafx, KGAL/KSHO Radio, U & D Nursery, and Special Occasions.   For more information visit www.cardv.org.

A wonderful addition this year included a partnership with Central Willamette Community Credit Union.  Thank you to all branches that hosted a CARDV giving tree.  Community members were able to choose heartfelt items.  Because of you, 102 adult and child survivors enjoyed a brighter holiday season, THANK YOU!
